NBN stands for the National Broadband Network. Australia is upgrading the communications network infrastructure to become fibre, allowing a more reliable broadband connection for all Australians.
Most traditional security alarm panels utilise the copper telephone service in order to communicate alarm signals back to base, or to a monitoring centre. With the new communication network changes rolling out through Australia, security alarm panels and equipment need to be tested and/or reconfigured to work with the new broadband network.
Great experience with Shellharbour Security Shaun came out to see if we had a problem as the alarm had gone off unexpectedly. He checked it thoroughly ( and the attached smoke alarm) and found no fault and would not accept any payment for the callout. Great customer service and top marks for communication skills.
